Vitamin A
It boosts immune system, but can be toxic in large amounts.
Vitamin B-complex
Essential for the nervous system. Most B vitamins are not toxic, although
very high doses of B6 (2000 to 6000mg) can cause nervous system
problems.
Vitamin C
Immunity booster and antioxidant. Megadoes, most experts agree, are not
harmful.
Vitamin D
Essential for maintaining bone density. Levels above 1,000 iu can be toxic,
causing calcium deposits and hardening of tissue.
Vitamin E
Antioxidant. May help prevent cancer, cardiovascular disease, fibrocystic
breasts, tissue deterioration and hot flashes. More than 1,200 iu a day may
cause nausea and palpitations.
