Vitamin D

Essential for maintaining bone density. Levels above 1,000 iu can be toxic, causing calcium deposits and hardening of tissue.

Vitamin E

Antioxidant. May help prevent cancer, cardiovascular disease, fibrocystic breasts, tissue deterioration and hot flashes. More than 1,200 iu a day may cause nausea and palpitations.
