June 18, 2026 – Shiseido is expanding two of its most trusted lines this summer.
The brand’s Wrinkle Shot series is adding a refreshing oil-in lotion to reduce the appearance of fine lines caused by dryness, plus a new night cream that functions as a serum, emulsion, cream, and mask in a single step – both scheduled for release in August 2026.
The launches are squarely on trend with the dominant consumer frame across Asian skincare markets right now: barrier-first, multi-functional products that simplify routines without sacrificing results. Across Korean, Japanese, and Chinese beauty simultaneously, the conversation has shifted from maximizing ingredient counts to maximizing each ingredient’s clinical delivery – with ceramides, fermented actives, peptides, and next-generation hydrators replacing the novelty ingredient chasing that defined the early 2020s.
Sensitive-skin focused brands including Curel, Minon, and Winona are among the biggest beneficiaries of this shift toward gentler, substantiated formulations.
